Assistant Site Manager (Nights)

Summary The Assistant Site Manager is a member of the Field Operations team, supporting safe and efficient yard operations at a given customer site. Partnering with the Site Manager, this role supports operations through equipment checks, safety compliance, and maintenance escalation. This role also reinforces high service standards through people and team development. Job Description Operational Excellence Support the Site Manager in monitoring performance metrics, identifying process improvements, and assisting with issue resolution that impacts service levels. Assist in equipment inspections to ensure good working conditions and communicate repair needs to the Site Manager for vendor coordination. Drive a minimum of 30 hours per week. Monitor employee adherence to safety standards and report maintenance issues to the Site Manager. People Development Assist in training and managing drivers and site-level staff. Assist in recruitment, hiring, team building, and mentoring of drivers and site-level staff. Customer & Vendor Relations Attend customer meetings alongside the Site Manager and help maintain positive customer relationships. Ensure that all employees provide the highest level of service.
