Nurse Practitioner Palliative Care
A well-respected healthcare organization is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join its multidisciplinary Palliative Care team. This role focuses on improving the quality of life for patients with serious, life-limiting illnesses through symptom management, psychosocial support, and collaborative medical decision-making.
Role Overview: As part of a comprehensive team including physicians, nurses, social workers, and chaplains, you will provide expert care to patients facing complex symptoms, advanced care planning needs, and high psychosocial distress in an inpatient setting.

Essential Duties:
- Perform physical exams and preventive health assessments
- Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests
- Develop, document, and implement individualized care plans
- Prescribe medications and recommend therapies in accordance with regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent program
- Active registered nurse (RN) license in the practicing state
- Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license or eligibility for licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Previous experience in palliative care or hospital medicine preferred
