Shift times: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Hours per week: 24. Weekend and holiday requirements: Saturday, Sunday, as needed. The CHA Imaging department provides advanced medical imaging services led by a team of board‑certified physicians, certified technologists, and service‑oriented staff. We offer a full complement of imaging services including a 128‑slice CT, a wide‑bore 1.5T MRI, interventional radiology, diagnostic X‑ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. Summary Under the direction of the Network MRI Supervisor, assists technologists in MRI imaging with non‑technical aspects of the department, including patient transport, supply and inventory management, patient pre‑ and post‑test preparation, and computer entry work. Responsibilities Triage phone calls to the appropriate personnel, take messages accurately, and deliver them promptly. Schedule patients accurately when required. Request transportation of patients or transport patients to and from facility departments and radiology for testing and procedures. Request and monitor interpreter needs as required. Assist patients in preparing for their breast imaging exam and complete patient history documentation. Inventory supplies, place orders as necessary, and stock incoming supplies. Enter imaging exam orders into the radiology information system for technologists as necessary. Enter begin and end procedure times into the radiology information system as necessary. Run the logged exam list daily and move exams to completion or cancel them. Work on incomplete lists to resolve reporting issues, including retrieval of outside imaging. Qualifications / Requirements High School Diploma required. Medical Assisting Certificate preferred; AHA BLS required. Knowledge of a second language preferred. One year of previous experience as a medical assistant or equivalent experience, as determined by the Director or designee. Minimum of one year of administrative duties in a clinical setting preferred.
