Payrate: $27/hr-$29/hr


Overview


This role is an entry-level accounting opportunity designed to provide broad exposure to core accounting functions within a dynamic finance environment. It is well-suited for a graduate in Accounting or Finance with 1-2 years of relevant experience who is seeking to further develop foundational accounting skills and grow within a structured accounting career path.


The position offers hands-on experience across accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, cash applications, and reconciliations, along with ongoing learning and development opportunities under the guidance of experienced finance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Post cash receipts and apply customer payments accurately
• Assist with billing functions, including preparing and issuing customer invoices
• Support accounts receivable by monitoring outstanding balances and following up on past-due accounts
• Assist with basic accounts payable processing
• Maintain accurate customer billing records and resolve routine invoice discrepancies
• Support account reconciliations and general ledger cleanup activities
• Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks as needed to support the finance team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-2 years of accounting or finance experience (internships included)
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and develop within an accounting function
