Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate - Gastroenterology Location: Brunswick, ME Facility: Mid Coast Hospital Schedule: Part Time Job Category: Advanced Practice Provider Req #: 68923 Date Posted: Jun 2, 2026 MaineHealth Gastroenterology Brunswick is seeking a part-time Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner to join their efficient practice with two other Physicians and two Nurse Practitioners. This is a 20‑hour per week position consisting of mixed daily inpatient rounding and an abbreviated outpatient clinic schedule. This position has a week‑day, work‑hour only call schedule covering emergent inpatient cases; no weekends or holidays required. Current physicians practicing in this department perform at the MGMA 80th percentile for productivity and compensation. Desired Qualifications and Experience Master’s degree in PA studies from an accredited program or NPs with applicable experience/training. Current state license in good standing, or the ability to obtain licensing in Maine. DEA certificate with prescribing privileges. Minimum two years relevant experience required. GI background preferred.
