Job Summary: The Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for performing surveillance exams, evaluating and treating occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, managing acute medical conditions within Nurse Practitioner scope of practice, and managing electronic medical records.

Ability to interact cooperatively and constructively with co-workers, customers and management.

Education & Experience: Minimum Educational Requirements: Master's degree in Nursing and passed the NCLEX-PN examination. Active Nurse Practitioner licensure. License in good standing. Certification with a nationally accredited affiliation. Current DOT Medical Examiner Certification strongly preferred. Experience: 10-15 years of professional Nurse Practitioner experience. Experience working in an Occupational Health Clinic preferred. Experience with performing OSHA surveillance exams preferred. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations. Evaluating patients for return to work and work readiness. Proven experience treating acute illnesses/injuries and chronic disease management. Developing safety plans for the work environment.
