Job Title: Occupancy Specialist

Location: Fairmont/Morgantown, WV Area

Company: Local Housing Organization

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-5:30 PM (half-hour paid lunch + two 10-minute breaks)

Starting Pay: $37,644 annually


About the Role:
A local organization in the Fairmont/Morgantown area is seeking a full-time Occupancy Specialist to join our dedicated team. This position will provide the full range of Section Program services from tenant enrollment to end of participation including orientation, eligibility, recertification and inspections.

We're looking to interview as early as next week!


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support a caseload of clients receiving housing assistance
• Perform a combination of clerical and inspection duties
• Maintain accurate electronic records and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service and work collaboratively with internal staff and a diverse client base
• Ensure compliance with program guidelines and reporting requirements

Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills and attention to detail
• Able to interact effectively with the public and team members
• Dependable : must be punctual and committed to reporting to work
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Previous work experience in public service, housing, or clerical roles is preferred but not required-we are happy to train the right person!
