The ideal candidate combines strategic architecture expertise with hands-on engineering experience to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions.Essential Responsibilities:Design,develop,andimplemententerprise-scaledataplatforms,lakehousearchitectures,anddatawarehousesolutionssupportinganalytics,AI/ML,frauddetection,andregulatoryreporting.Buildandmaintainhigh-performancebatch,streaming,andevent-drivendatapipelinestoprocesslarge-scaledataworkloads.DevelopandoptimizeETL/ELTframeworksusingmoderncloud-nativeandbigdatatechnologies.Createandmaintainscalabledatamodels,metadataframeworks,datalineage,anddataqualitycontrolstoensuretrusteddataassets.Lead andsupportcloudmigrationandmodernizationinitiatives,enablingsecureandefficientdataplatformtransformation.Partnerwitharchitects,softwareengineers,datascientists,andbusinessstakeholderstodeliverreliableandreusabledataproducts.Conductdesignreviews,establishengineeringstandards,andmentorteammembersondataengineeringbestpracticesandplatformdevelopment.Ensurecompliancewithenterprisesecurity,governance,performance,resiliency,andoperationalexcellencerequirements.Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience- Five to six years of relevant experiencePreferred Skills/ExperienceStrongexpertiseinDatabricks,ApacheSpark,Scala,PySpark,DeltaLake,andmoderndistributeddataprocessingframeworks.AdvancedproficiencyinSQL,Python,Oracle,anddataengineeringbestpracticesforlarge-scaleenterpriseenvironments.Experiencedesigningandimplementingdatawarehouses,lakehousearchitectures,Medallionarchitecture,anddimensionaldatamodels.Hands-on experience building scalableETL/ELTpipelines,real-timestreamingsolutions,andevent-drivenarchitectures.StrongknowledgeofAzureand/orAWScloudplatforms,cloud-nativeservices,anddataplatformmodernizationstrategies.Experienceimplementingdatagovernance,lineage,metadatamanagement,dataquality,andcompliancecontrols.PriorexperiencewithActimizeplatforms(SAM,CCD,UDM,orrelatedsolutions),preferablywithinFraud,AML,Risk,orRegulatoryReportingenvironments.Provenabilitytodevelophighlyavailable,fault-tolerant,secure,andperformance-optimizeddatasolutions,withstrongcommunicationandstakeholdermanagementskills.Location expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
