Linde Engineering North America LLC Service Support Supervisor Location: Houston, TX Responsibilities Provide support to customers in North America, ensuring a high level of customer service. Offer technical and troubleshooting support to customers over the phone and occasionally on site as needed. Assist Technicians during Commissioning and On‑Site Service interventions. Ensure optimum service levels and timely response to customer needs. Coordinate with Engineers in CSUSA and CSF to resolve technical issues and improve or solve reliability issues with equipment and machinery. Work closely with the After‑Sales teams in Cryostar France on technical and service issues. Support CSUSA‑built products in all world regions by supporting, training and assisting Cryostar employees in regional offices. Contribute to CSUSA service revenue objectives by supporting spare parts, repairs and on‑site service. Provide input to the Service Manager for performance reviews of field service technicians. Recommend alternative methods and solutions for service approach, customer offerings and implementation to the Service Manager and Business Manager. Support Quality, Accounting and Service Departments to meet third‑party compliance requirements for on‑site interventions. Follow up with customers regarding unpaid invoices as needed due to unresolved technical support. Key Qualifications Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent. 5+ years’ experience in an industrial field setting. Experience with industrial equipment and control systems. Knowledge of rotating equipment, including pumps and turbo machinery. Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, including variable frequency drives. Exposure to PLC systems and ability to troubleshoot control issues. Ability to read engineering drawings, including electrical schematics.
