Insurance Payment ProcessorSmile Brands is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance Payment Processor to join our Central Billing Office team in San Antonio, TX. This onsite role plays a critical part in supporting accurate and timely insurance payment posting and account reconciliation across multiple practice management systems.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment and is highly organized with strong attention to detail. Success in this role requires accuracy, accountability, and the ability to navigate multiple systems while meeting daily productivity goals.Monday - Friday 7:30a-4pm, mandatory monthly OT and occasional SaturdaysResponsibilitiesAccurately post insurance and capitation payments to patient accounts across multiple practice management systemsReview Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and apply appropriate account adjustments, credits, or patient balancesResearch and reconcile patient accounts within automated payment processing systemsBalance daily posting activity against live check and electronic depositsMaintain accurate daily tracking and reconciliation logsComplete weekly audits and reporting related to payment posting activityResolve payment posting support tickets and account discrepanciesFile and maintain payment documentation and EOB recordsCommunicate daily posting totals and unresolved balances to leadershipQualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience in payment posting, insurance processing, medical/dental billing, or a related revenue cycle roleExperience reviewing EOBs and understanding insurance claims adjudicationStrong data entry and 10-key skills with a high level of accuracyAbility to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelPreferred QualificationsExperience using Dentrix AscendTyping speed of 50+ WPMExperience with cash handlingCompensation $16.00 - $18.50 per hourBenefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off ("PTO"), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.Smile Brands supports over 650 affiliated dental practices across 30 states all focused on a single mission of delivering Smiles For Everyone!® Smiles for patients, providers, employees, and community partners.
