As an Assistant Nurse Manager (Senior Clinical Advisor), you will partner with the Nurse Manager to lead clinical operations, support frontline nursing staff, and drive exceptional patient outcomes in our fast-paced Emergency Department.This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced ER nurse, Charge Nurse, Clinical Leader, or emerging Nurse Manager looking to grow their leadership career within one of Connecticut's leading healthcare organizations and a nationally recognized Level I Trauma Center.Leadership role within a Level I Trauma CenterSchedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM (Weekends as needed)Salaried position with full benefitsCareer advancement opportunities within Trinity HealthCollaborative, mission-driven culture focused on excellence and patient-centered careWhat You'll DoSupport the Nurse Manager in leading daily Emergency Department operations.Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to charge nurses and clinical staff.Coordinate staffing, scheduling, patient throughput, and resource management.Promote a culture of quality, safety, accountability, and professional development.Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance management, and staff engagement initiatives.Ensure compliance with hospital, regulatory, and accreditation standards.Drive clinical excellence through evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.Serve as the primary nursing leadership presence during weekend evening operations.Required QualificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Current Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) licenseMinimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experienceExperience caring for high-acuity emergency patientsStrong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in a Level I or Level II Trauma CenterPrevious leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Team Lead, Preceptor, or SupervisorBLS/CPR certificationACLS certificationTNCC certificationSpecialty certifications encouraged and supportedCompensation: $91,624 – $146,640Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
