Coordinator Inflight Crew Base

Position Summary

The Inflight Base Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the consistent execution of Inflight dependability and performance programs. The Coordinator partners closely with Inflight Field Operations leadership to maintain accurate Crewmember records, administer performance and dependability processes, monitor program requirements and timelines, and ensure documentation standards are consistently met. Through proactive case management, auditing, reporting, and cross-functional coordination, the Coordinator supports operational accountability, program compliance, and the overall effectiveness of Inflight performance management.

Essential Responsibilities

• Owns the accurate and timely maintenance of Inflight Crewmember dependability and performance documentation and associated electronic records, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and confidentiality.
• Tracks and documents Crewmember dependability occurrences, including applicable incentive programs and attendance recognition.
• Initiates, monitors, and maintains Coaching and Team Leader Notification Log entries; proactively partners with leadership to ensure required actions are completed within established timelines.
• Prepares and initiates Progressive Guidance documentation in accordance with established Inflight policies and processes and routes cases to the appropriate Crewleader for implementation.
• Monitors active performance and dependability cases to identify outstanding actions, documentation gaps, or approaching deadlines and communicates necessary follow-up to appropriate leadership.
• Conducts semiannual quality assurance audits of Crewmember electronic files and performance documentation; identifies discrepancies and coordinates corrective action to maintain documentation standards.
• Serves as a key resource and liaison for Inflight Crewleaders regarding dependability and performance processes, documentation requirements, departmental policies, and established programs.
• Supports consistent application of Inflight performance and dependability processes by identifying trends, recurring documentation issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Partners with fellow Base Coordinators to manage workload, prioritize time-sensitive cases, and maintain appropriate operational coverage and continuity.
• Supports Inflight leadership with special projects, data validation, reporting, audits, and other initiatives related to Crewmember performance, dependability, and operational effectiveness.
• Maintains discretion and professionalism when handling confidential, sensitive, and Crewmember-related information.
• Participates in Leadership Flying, as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
• One (1) year of administrative or comparable experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively partner with multiple levels of leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and appropriately manage sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to quickly learn department-specific systems and technology.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a geographically dispersed team.
• Must qualify and maintain currency as an Inflight Crewmember.
• Available for overnight travel (10%).
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
• Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Two (2) years of administrative or comparable experience
• Inflight Crew qualified
• Experience supporting employee performance, attendance, dependability, or compliance processes.
• SharePoint experience.
• Experience with data reporting, audits, or quality assurance processes.

Crewmember Expectations

• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice.
• Able to maintain a professional appearance.
• When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.

• Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR)).

Work Environment

• Generally remote work; some office days and Base visits, as required.
• Core business hours; however, may be required to work evenings and weekends based on operational needs.

Compensation

• The base pay range for this position is between $21.63 and $36.06 per hour.
