Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facilities Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, confidence in their skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Facilities Technician Location: Columbus, OH What's the Job? Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all facility systems equipment including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal energy efficiency and safety of building systems. Diagnose complex system issues using Building Automation Systems, blueprints, schematics, and other technical tools. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Support additional responsibilities and adapt to flexible scheduling based on business needs. What's Needed? Minimum of 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance within a commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environment. Journeyman level expertise in Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing systems. Certification as a Universal Technician for CFCs. High School diploma or GED, with two years of trades schooling in electrical systems, refrigeration, or HVAC.
