The Facilities Technician is responsible for ensuring all Thrive Venture Group-owned Orangetheory Fitness studios operate safely, efficiently, and at the highest standard of cleanliness and functionality. This role is hands-on , fast-paced, and field-based, requiring strong technical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of a multi-unit fitness organization.

Conduct regular visits to all company-owned locations to assess repairs, safety, and overall facility condition (interior and exterior)

Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections on building systems and fitness equipment

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls, including after-hours situations as needed

Manage and track facilities-related expenses while working within established budgets

Prepare facilities for seasonal and weather-related changes; Maintain familiarity with equipment and facility warranty specifications to ensure proper service and compliance

Collaborate closely with the Facilities Director to ensure all studios are operating at an optimal level.

Utilize internal platforms and systems to ensure repairs, communication, and documentation are organized, accurate, and timely

Adapt to shifting studio needs and priorities in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment

Safely lift and move equipment and materials weighing up to 100 lbs

Patching and painting

Minor electrical work

Mechanical systems

Experience maintaining and repairing fitness equipment (preferred)

Confidence troubleshooting technology and equipment-related issues

Strong computer skills and comfort using digital platforms for tracking and communication
