Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our interdisciplinary team at Rolling Hills Health & Rehab. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their highest level of independence and well-being. Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for our residents

• Conduct occupational therapy sessions, including but not limited to, activities of daily living (ADL) training, cognitive stimulation, and sensory integration

• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote optimal functioning and independence

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident progress and treatment plans

• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care for our residents

• Participate in resident care conferences and other multidisciplinary team meetings

Requirements:

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant studies or related field a plus

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate and patient-oriented approach to working with seniors and their families
