General Manager

Job Summary The General Manager for Corporate Restaurant Operations oversees all functions of a Papa John’s restaurant to ensure profitability. Responsibilities include managing operations, executing company policies, ensuring compliance, and supervising staff and delivery drivers when required. Responsibilities Monitor product quality and customer service standards, identify deficiencies, and address them with direct reports. Respond promptly to all customer concerns and use feedback to improve operations and build brand loyalty. Oversee training and execution of quality standards. Manage recruiting efforts, maintain uniform and appearance standards, and conduct performance reviews. Coach and develop direct reports, including recognition programs to retain high performers. Manage sales goals, analyze trends, and implement local marketing initiatives. Control food, labor, and other costs using the FOCUS System, and develop plans to improve profitability. Execute administrative and cash management duties. Plan inventory levels, manage assets, ensure safety and security standards, and oversee maintenance. Qualifications Minimum two years of successful restaurant management or supervision experience. High school diploma (or equivalent) required. Serv‑Safe, local or state Food Service Certification required; basic accounting skills and cash‑management experience preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive, with satisfactory vehicle and insurance. Must be 18 years or older and willing to work 50+ hours per week, including nights, weekends, and emergencies.
