What You'll Do

• Monitor vital signs and patient responsiveness throughout recovery from anesthesia
• Manage airway patency and respiratory function, intervening in emergencies
• Administer medications for pain, nausea, and hydration to ensure patient comfort
• Assess surgical sites and dressings, identify any complications or bleeding
• Recognize adverse reactions to anesthesia or surgery and respond promptly
• Maintain detailed accurate patient records and communicate updates with the healthcare team
• Support patients' recovery process with compassionate care and attention

What You Need

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of PACU or related perioperative nursing experience
• Strong assessment and emergency response skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
