Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Security Clearance in Middletown, RI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working as part of a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $26.27 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 07:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, common areas, entry points, and perimeter spaces, noting conditions that may require follow-up.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity to help support authorized access and report concerns related to badges, deliveries, and/or restricted areas.
- Support a professional presence at the location by following Allied Universal standards, observing daily operations, and reporting security-related issues, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
