Monday–Thursday: 6:30am start- work no later than 4:30pm Friday: 6:30am start- work no later than 2:30pm Job Summary: The Shipping Associate II performs intermediate-level shipping and logistics work and is responsible for completing a variety of shipping functions with accuracy and efficiency. This role works independently on most assignments and contributes to maintaining quality and delivery standards. Work Assignment: Employees may be assigned to different shipping functions based on skill level, training, and business needs. Work may vary in complexity from basic packaging and staging activities to more detailed shipping preparation tasks. Essential Functions: Shipping & Logistics Perform shipping functions independently across one or more shipping areas. Load, stage, verify, and prepare shipments for delivery. Complete shipping documentation and related records as required. Coordinate shipment preparation to meet delivery schedules. Quality & Accuracy Ensure shipments are accurate, complete, and properly prepared. Identify and address routine shipping discrepancies. Verify products, quantities, and shipment information. Workflow & Efficiency Maintain consistent productivity and support shipping timelines. Assist in maintaining efficient workflow within the department. Safety & Organization Follow all safety procedures and guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work collaboratively with team members and leadership. Support team needs and production flow. Provide support and guidance to less experienced employees as needed. Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of shipping, logistics, and material handling processes. Ability to read and understand shipping documents and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to understand work instructions, shipping documents, safety guidelines, and job-related communication. Education and Experience Education:High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: 1–3 years of shipping, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or related experience preferred. Leadership Responsibilities This role does not have direct reports Manufacturing / Production Environment – Roles in this environment involve regular exposure to a shop-floor or manufacturing setting. Work may require standing, walking, bending, lifting, or other physical activity for extended periods. Employees may frequently lift, move, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Employees are expected to follow all safety procedures and may be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, or steel-toe footwear. The environment may include exposure to noise, dust, machinery, temperature variations, and other safety-sensitive conditions typical of a production facility.
