We are looking for an HR Analyst to support essential human resources operations for a Contract position based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This role will focus on maintaining compliant employee documentation, coordinating pre-employment screening activities, and assisting with day-to-day HR administration. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment when handling sensitive information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Administer core HR processes by preparing, reviewing, and maintaining personnel records and employment-related documentation.
• Coordinate background screening activities, track results, and ensure hiring files are complete and compliant with applicable requirements.
• Prepare and process legal and employment forms accurately while maintaining confidentiality and proper record retention.
• Draft and manage clear written communications related to HR matters, including employment verification and other formal correspondence.
• Support benefits administration by assisting with enrollments, updates, and employee inquiries regarding available programs.
• Monitor HR records for accuracy, follow up on missing information, and help maintain organized documentation across employee files.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to respond to routine HR questions and provide administrative support for employee lifecycle activities.• Experience supporting human resources administration in a detail-oriented office environment.
• Working knowledge of employment documentation, legal forms, and HR recordkeeping practices.
• Hands-on experience coordinating or reviewing background checks as part of the hiring process.
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and detail-oriented legal or HR-related correspondence.
• Familiarity with benefit functions, including enrollment support and employee documentation updates.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency with standard business software and the ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy.
