**Required or Preferred Experience:** - Minimum of 1 year of experience is required. - Must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention, including Structural. **Clinical Experience:** - Specific experience required with electrophysiology procedures, including pacemaker/defibrillator implants, ablations, and PVI. **Certifications:** - ACLS - ARRT registered - BLS (Basic Life Support) **Licensure:** - Must have an active WV license in hand to start the assignment. Pending state license accepted for submission. **Skills and Qualifications:** - Skills required include 3D imaging, accurate monitoring, arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, circulation procedures, conduction studies, electrophysiology (EP) lab, electrophysiology evaluation, fluoroscopy, insertion/programming of AICDs, isolation precautions/PPE, lead tech experience, LAA closure, pacemaker insertion, perform EKG lead placement, permanent pacemaker insertion, Philips equipment usage, prep access site, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, room circulator, scrub procedures, scrub maintaining sterile field, sterile technique, temporary pacemaker, use of rapid response/code teams, and Watchman. **Leadership Experience:** - Previous charge experience not explicitly required. **Additional Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 manager and/or charge nurse references from the past 2 years. - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (if required by the unit) must be through the American Heart Association (AHA). **Travel and Compliance:** - Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility. Candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis. - Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from the last permanent employment date before returning as a traveler.
