Assistant Director of Nursing, Infection Prevention and Public Health Support (RN)

Full-Time | 35 Hours/Week | Salary Range: $105,000 - $114,000 The Assistant Director provides leadership for Columbia Health infection prevention program, setting and advancing an agenda for infection prevention and related public health issues while ensuring compliance with state, federal, accrediting, and regulatory requirements. The incumbent assesses and treats actual or potential health problems related to emerging infections and outbreaks, manages annual immunization/TB requirements for clinical students, oversees employee Fit Testing, TB screening, vaccinations, and health clearances, and leads the annual flu immunization program. Assistant Director of Nursing-Infection Prevention and Public Health Support - New York, United States Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Nursing and current NYS RN license; BLS and infection control certification; minimum 4 years of directly related experience; knowledge of OSHA and public health mandates related to immunization compliance; strong EHR skills. Preferred Master's degree in Nursing or Public Health; college health experience; CBIC Infection Control certification; experience with DOH reporting/case management and contact tracing.
