Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Position Summary
The Hospitality Manager provides leadership and strategic direction for all guest-facing operations at Saffron Fields Vineyard, including the tasting room, events, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales channels. This position ensures that every visitor experiences the warmth, artistry, and excellence that define the Saffron Fields brand. The Hospitality Manager develops and implements business processes, leads the team, manages financial performance, and upholds a culture of hospitality where every guest encounter is memorable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•  Leadership & Strategy
o Establish and execute annual goals and work processes for DTC sales, wine club growth, hospitality, and events.
o Oversee daily operations of the tasting room and events to ensure consistent adherence to brand standards.
o Lead, mentor, and evaluate the TR Lead and tasting room team to achieve service and sales goals.
o Model and reinforce a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and exceptional service.

•  Sales & Marketing
o Develop and implement campaigns, promotions, and seasonal experiences that drive visitation and sales.
o Monitor performance metrics and analyze sales data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
o Build and maintain relationships with wine club members, VIP guests, vendors, and community partners.
o Represent the winery at trade shows and industry events to promote brand visibility.

•  Event Management
o Plan and oversee private and public events, including budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, and on-site execution.
o Ensure events are delivered seamlessly, with exceptional attention to detail and guest satisfaction.

•  Operations & Compliance
o Manage inventory levels for tasting room and events; coordinate timely restocking and fulfillment.
o Maintain accurate financial and operational records in accordance with company policies.
o Ensure compliance with all OLCC, health, and safety regulations.

•  Team Development & Collaboration
o Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions focused on wine knowledge, service standards, and sales techniques.
o Provide constructive feedback, performance reviews, and professional development opportunities.
o Coordinate closely with the Marketing Manager and Distribution Lead on the promotional calendar.

Qualifications
•  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
•  Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hospitality or DTC management, ideally in the wine or luxury consumer goods industry.
•  Demonstrated success in leading teams, driving revenue, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
•  Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
•  Proficiency in POS systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
•  Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by events.

Physical and Environmental Requirements
•  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while engaging guests and staff.
•  Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds (cases of wine, event materials).
•  Work involves both indoor and outdoor environments with occasional exposure to variable weather conditions.
