• Shift: Days, 10 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 0500-1330
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40.0
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification, Critical Care experience, Preoperative experience (preferred), Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) experience, BCMA certification, excellent documentation skills, ability to work independently in a high-acuity patient area, excellent communication skills with interdepartmental teams, good critical thinking skills
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with large-bore IV starts, arterial line, central line, and epidural placement, ability to transport patients to the operating room, assist with induction, intubation, positioning, skin prep, and perioperative procedures
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The position involves large-bore IV starts, hair removal, medication administration, skin assessment, and assisting with advanced procedures such as arterial and central line placements. Candidates will support intraoperative care, including patient transport, preparation, and assistance during surgery.
