Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
• Current Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required
• Prior experience in school settings, ideally with a middle school population
• Strong collaboration skills and adaptability between school sites, if assigned itinerant duties
• Effective communicator, able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students individually and in groups
• Manage a caseload averaging around 45 students, in accordance with state and workload model guidelines
• Participate in assessment, intervention planning, IEP meetings, and progress monitoring
• Document services, maintain accurate records, and communicate with faculty, families, and caregivers
• Deliver culturally responsive therapy, particularly supporting the bilingual needs of the student community
• Potentially serve multiple schools, depending on final assignment

This contract role begins September 29, 2026 and concludes June 9, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with part-time considered for qualified candidates.
