Job Title: Manufacturing Associate Job Description

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will play a crucial role in assembling and preparing orders for shipping and manufacturing products. This position offers a stable schedule with the opportunity for additional hours when needed.

• Assemble orders for shipping and manufactured products.
• Utilize the KANBAN system to refill stocking levels.
• Use hand and pneumatic assembly tools to complete kits.
• Build and test products in accordance with documentation, ensuring timely completion to meet scheduled ship dates.
• Maintain accurate reporting of labor through the use of a labor tracking system.
• Test equipment ranging from basic to complex assemblies.
• Pick and pack products in a warehouse environment.
• Record and document test results and manufacturing discrepancies using provided forms.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Experience in building component-level parts.
• Ability to build from simple schematics.
• Ability to work from BOM/drawings.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• General knowledge of assembly techniques.

• Electrical experience is a plus.

The work takes place in a large facility with a quiet, non-temperature-controlled warehouse separate from the manufacturing area. The team consists of 15 members, with shifts spread out among five people per shift. The facility includes six dock doors, and the role involves picking parts for custom filtration systems, with parts ranging from small washers to larger metal or PCB components.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Libertyville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Libertyville,IL.
