Job Duties

• Assemble bus door panels and component kits using blueprints, BOMs, and standard work instructions.
• Install roller brackets, hinges, seals, hardware, glass windows, sensors, handles, and other door components.
• Operate hand tools, electric tools, and pneumatic equipment to complete production assemblies.
• Measure, cut, and install rubber seals, sensitive edges, wiring, and related components according to specifications.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet customer and manufacturing standards.
• Apply touch-up paint, adhesives, and caulking as required during final assembly.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area while meeting production schedules and quality expectations.
• Support additional manufacturing and production tasks as assigned with appropriate training.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), process standard sheets (PSS), and work instructions.
• Basic math and measuring skills preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools is a plus.
• Ability to learn complex assembly processes, product configurations, and quality standards.
• Typically requires up to one year to achieve full proficiency in all job-related responsibilities.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Capable of handling, positioning, and assembling large door panel components.
• Manual dexterity required for using hand tools, installing hardware, and completing detailed assembly work.
• Ability to lift, move, and manipulate materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to meet drug screening and fitness-for-duty requirements, where applicable.
