Financial Analyst

Financial AnalystThis position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401(k). The Financial Analyst will work fully in-office in Monroe, NC. The hours are 8:00–5:00 or 7:30–4:30. The dress code is business casual. The Financial Analyst reports to the FP&A Manager and works in a small, collaborative and easygoing team of three. This position is a backfill due to an internal promotion.The Financial Analyst will analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, raw materials, overhead and inventory. They will build financial models, forecasts and what-if/scenario analyses. They will support budgeting, rolling forecasts and strategic business decisions. They will analyze profitability, margins, production volumes and product mix. They will perform break-even, cost and payback analyses. They will create and maintain financial reporting tools and dashboards. They will present financial results and insights to management. They will compare operational metrics to financial results to understand business performance. They will identify financial risks related to commodities, supply chain, production and inflation. They will support month-end/year-end close, GL reconciliations and journal entries. They will look for opportunities to improve reporting, forecasting and financial processes.
