Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas PT license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient experience required, including evaluations and plan of care development for musculoskeletal and general outpatient populations.
• Experience providing 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions, including documentation of goals, functional quality indicators, and letters of medical necessity.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record documentation and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy aides or assistants and participate in student clinical education.
• Maintains professional licensure and completes state-mandated continuing education per the State Practice Act.
• Preferred: prior experience with patient safety programs, safe patient handling techniques, and outcomes-driven therapy programs.

Assignment Details

• Caseload: Outpatient musculoskeletal and general outpatient patients with 60-minute evaluation plus treatment sessions.
