Our fleet is primarily day cabs and trailers, all under manufacturer warrantymeaning no major engine overhauls or roadside calls. Youll perform a variety of tasks, with clear pathways for growth:/pulliRoutine Maintenance Repair: Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on our fleet./liliDiagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex electrical, engine, and transmission problems./liliSystem Repairs: Address issues with aftertreatment systems (DEF/emissions), perform regens, and change filters./liliCollaborate Optimize: Work with your team to maintain accurate records, optimize vehicle performance, and minimize downtime./liliSafety First: Adhere to all safety protocols and industry best practices to ensure our fleet is always DOT compliant./li/ulh3What Were Looking For/h3pWere searching for skilled professionals with a strong background in diesel technology./pulliExperience: 3+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers or similar equipment (e.g., agricultural, construction, waste collection truck)./liliTechnical Skills: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems./liliProficiency with diagnostic software and using a laptop for manuals./liliExperience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics./liliComfortable with MIG welding is a plus./liliCertifications Training: A minimum of two ASE Certifications within the first 6 months of employment (well reimburse you!)./liliT-series ASE Certifications are highly valued./liliRequirements: A valid Drivers License with clean driving record/liliAbility to perform physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance (lifting, bending, etc.)./liliStrong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship./liliA solid attendance record and punctuality are essential for this role./li/ulh3About Carvana/h3pAt Carvana, were on a mission to change the way people buy cars.
