Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU
Location: Worcester, MA
Schedule: Full-time | 3x12-hour shifts
Pay Rate: $34 - $70/hour (DOE)
On Call: Every other weekend and alternating holidays
Shift Differential: Yes
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $7,500 for experienced candidates

Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our client's Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team in Worcester, MA. This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with a team committed to delivering exceptional post-operative patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality direct nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.
  
  
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
  
  
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to promote patient safety and care continuity.
  
  
• Supervise and mentor support staff to maintain clinical excellence and compliance with hospital standards.
  
  
• Uphold professional nursing practices and ensure adherence to all hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required).
  
  
• BSN or MSN preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts (required).
  
  
• BLS certification (required).
  
  
• ACLS certification (preferred).

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of critical care experience (ICU, ER, or Urgent Care).
  
  
• PACU or perioperative nursing experience preferred.

• On Call: Every other weekend and alternating holidays.
