The Accounting Office Manager ensures accurate financial records, supports human resources activities, and provides administrative support to keep the office running smoothly. This position suits a professional who enjoys working in a close-knit, family-style environment and contributing to both operational and financial success.ResponsibilitiesOversee general office administration to ensure efficient daily operations.Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing vendor and customer transactions.Prepare and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.Handle job costing activities to support accurate project and cost tracking.Write and process checks in accordance with company procedures and internal controls.Assist with basic financial reporting to support leadership with timely and accurate financial information.Perform job entry into the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.Check, verify, and post purchase orders (POs) into the system.Handle bank deposits, including preparing, verifying, and recording deposit transactions.Communicate with credit managers and other financial stakeholders regarding accounts and payments.Provide administrative support such as answering phones, ordering office supplies, and greeting visitors.Support basic human resources functions, including clerical HR tasks and employee-related documentation.Perform data entry and clerical work to maintain organized and up-to-date records.Collaborate with team members across the shop and office to support smooth operations.Maintain a professional, welcoming, and customer-focused office environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oregon City, OR.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
