As a valued member of the educational team, you will work one day per week with an elementary caseload, offering vital support to help students achieve their physical development goals. This role balances professional fulfillment with the convenience of a part-time schedule, letting you focus on what you do best—helping children grow and succeed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active Physical Therapist (PT) license in California
- Demonstrated experience providing PT services in schools, especially with elementary-aged children
- Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy practices and school-based documentation requirements
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, service providers, and families
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted therapy to students weekly and monitor progress toward functional goals
- Conduct assessments and participate in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Design and implement individualized interventions and activities
- Consult with teachers and staff to support physical accessibility and educational outcomes
- Keep accurate, timely records and ensure compliance with school and state standards
