Mammography Tech — Illinois | PRN$68–$70/hour | As-Needed Weekday Shifts | Monday–FridayVitalCheck is supporting a statewide preventive care program designed to bring breast cancer screening directly to working employees across Illinois. As a Mammography Technologist, you will help make preventive care easier to access for women who may otherwise delay or miss important screenings because of work schedules, travel barriers, or limited access.This is a meaningful opportunity to use your technical skill, patient care experience, and calm presence to make preventive healthcare easier, more accessible, and more human.Assignment SnapshotLocations: Springfield, Sangamon County, Champaign, Chicago, Cook County, and the Chicago Metro area. Program Period: Now through October 30, 2026. Schedule: PRN / as-needed shifts, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; no weekends or holidays. Pay: $68–$70/hour, W-2. Mileage: Mileage reimbursement may be available for approved work-related travel based on assignment location.PRN shifts are offered based on program coverage needs, location, and availability. This position does not require a commitment to the full program period or all program locations.What You'll DoPerform screening mammograms in a mobile screening setting.Complete daily mammography quality control.Review images for technical quality and positioning.Maintain accurate documentation and securely transmit studies.Support onsite patient flow, check-in, and daily communication.Provide a calm, professional, patient-centered screening experience.This role does not include diagnosis, image interpretation, prescribing, determining medical necessity, or directing physician or radiologist clinical judgment.Required QualificationsActive ARRT RT(R)(M) certification.Active Illinois IEMA-OHS accreditation in Medical Radiation Technology, Medical Radiography category, or ability to obtain before performing services in Illinois.Current BLS certification.Minimum 1 year of screening mammography experience.Ability to provide required MQSA documentation before start.Ability to work independently in a mobile screening environment.Preferred Experience3D/digital breast tomosynthesis experience.Mobile mammography experience.Hologic experience.Equal Employment Opportunity VitalCheck is an equal opportunity employer.
