This contract position offers the opportunity to work with an engaging, supportive team, providing vital services to students in elementary, middle, or high school settings near Golden, CO. In this role, you’ll enjoy a generous pay rate of $50 per hour, a consistent weekly schedule of at least 35 hours over five days, and outstanding benefits. You’ll contribute your expertise to help students overcome communication challenges, enabling their academic and social success.
Qualifications & Credentials:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders or related field required
- Active Colorado SLP license (or eligibility for immediate licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, addressing a variety of communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress notes as required by state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
