Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support student success within a dynamic elementary school setting. This contract position runs from August 11, 2026, to May 21, 2027, offering the chance to make a significant impact on students’ communication growth over the full academic year. With a 37.5 hour workweek and caseload details to be determined, this role is ideal for professionals ready to collaborate with school staff and families in a supportive environment.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC required for top candidates; SLP-CFY welcomed to apply)
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred
- Expertise in assessment, intervention, and treatment planning for school-aged children
- Skilled in collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services according to students’ needs
- Collaborate with teaching staff to support classroom strategies
- Monitor and document student progress, updating goals as appropriate
- Act as an advocate for students’ communication needs during IEP meetings
- Engage families in the therapy process and provide practical support
