This role involves working with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Description This is a per diem position but it could turn into a permanent position. Key Responsibilities Clinical Assessment Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments using standardized tests, interviews, and observation to diagnose mental health conditions and develop treatment plans. Evaluate the impact of psychological and emotional issues on clients' behavior and functioning. Therapeutic Interventions Provide evidence‑based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive‑behavioral therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, and counseling, tailored to individual client needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Client Support Offer support and guidance to clients dealing with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship problems, and behavioral disorders. Facilitate group therapy sessions and support groups as needed. Collaboration and Consultation Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensive care to clients. Consult with schools, employers, and community organizations to support clients' mental health and well‑being. Documentation and Record‑Keeping Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including assessment results, treatment plans, progress notes, and reports. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in psychological practice. Education and Prevention Conduct workshops, seminars, and educational programs on mental health topics for clients, families, and the community. Develop and implement prevention programs aimed at reducing the incidence of mental health issues. Research and Professional Development Stay current with developments in psychology through continuing education, research, and professional development. Participate in research projects and contribute to the field of psychology through publications and presentations. Qualifications Education Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. Licensure Licensed or eligible for licensure as a psychologist in the state of MA. Experience Experience providing psychological assessment and therapy to diverse client populations. Specialized training or experience in specific therapeutic approaches or client populations is preferred. Skills Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in psychological assessment tools and techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
