IT Support Tech I

The IT Support Tech I supports the IT department by coordinating hardware and software requests, maintaining asset inventories, and providing first-level technical support. This role is responsible for procuring equipment and licenses, tracking lifecycle and ownership of IT assets, and assisting with IT projects. The position works closely with team members, managers, end users, and vendors to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of IT services.Responsibilities:Stage new systems for deployment by the IT helpdeskPerform basic Active Directory user managementServe as primary contact for IT hardware requestsProcure IT hardware including workstations and peripheralsComplete receiving of IT hardware to support invoice processingMaintain accurate inventory of IT assets and lifecycle trackingServe as primary contact for IT software requestsProcure and track software licensesProcure company cell phones and hotspots through vendorsMaintain cellular device inventory recordsSupport documentation of IT systems and environmentAssist IT team with projects and other assigned tasksRequired Experience and Skills:2 or more years of IT experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office products including Office 365, SharePoint, and TeamsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills and attention to detailKnowledge of current business hardware, software, and mobile devicesAdditional requirements:Ability to pass a technical vocabulary assessmentDemonstrated willingness to learn and adaptCommitment to maintaining professional appearance and work ethicInterest in pursuing IT certifications and professional development opportunitiesParticipation in regular department meetings and training activitiesWork Conditions:Frequent interaction with internal employees, managers, and external vendorsOffice-based work environment with standard technology toolsMay require handling and setup of IT equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr Applied-Technical-Services-LL
