Job Description As a Security Officer Driver Operations in Lawrence Township, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a critical utilities location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.73 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies. Complete detailed reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
