Assistant or Associate Professor (Clinical) – Spine Neurosurgery The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Utah is seeking a fellowship‑trained spine neurosurgeon for a tenure‑track position at the assistant or associate professor level. Responsibilities Provide clinical spine neurosurgery care as part of an active academic department. Engage in teaching activities for medical trainees and students. Conduct research in translational and outcomes research, and publish findings. Develop or participate in a community‑based spine practice that serves a broad spectrum of services. Qualifications Board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery and fellowship trained in spine neurosurgery. Evidence of excellent surgical training and successful research efforts. Completed evidence of commitment to academic responsibilities and a community‑based practice. Salary and academic appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
