Order Entry & Sales Support Coordinator

Location: Waukegan, IL

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Work Setting: Fully Onsite

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Order Entry & Sales Support Coordinator to join our team in Waukegan, IL. This role is essential to ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, tracked efficiently, and communicated effectively across departments.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-driven, and comfortable working with data, business systems, and cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting sales operations while contributing to overall customer satisfaction and operational success.

This position operates in a small office environment and works closely with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Production, and Shipping teams. Daily responsibilities include processing customer orders received through online platforms and email while supporting efficient internal operations.

• Accurately enter, review, and process customer orders.
• Verify pricing, product details, and order information for accuracy.
• Maintain customer and order records within company systems.
• Coordinate with production, shipping, and internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor order status and provide updates as needed.
• Prepare quotes, order documentation, and other sales support materials.
• Manage order-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in partnership with internal departments.
• Provide administrative and sales support as needed.
• Assist with inventory, scheduling, and other operational activities.
• Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as business needs require.

• 2+ years of experience in order entry, administrative support, inside sales support, customer service, or a similar role.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business software applications.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Dependable attendance and a reliable work ethic.

• Experience with QuickBooks.
• Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft 365, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support functions outside of core responsibilities.
• Professional, personable, and team-oriented attitude.

This is a Contract position based out of Waukegan, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
