About This Role

We are seeking a Preschool Instructional Assistant who shares our passion for early childhood education and wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children. • Support our lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment by implementing lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment by assisting with classroom management.
• Engage with children through interactive play, storytelling, music, and hands-on learning experiences, making learning fun and interactive.
• Assist with daily routines, including mealtime, naptime, and transitions, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable day for all.
• Observe and document children’s progress, assisting with assessments as needed, to help identify areas of strength and growth.
• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to help meet individual learning needs and ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, making sure everything is in its place and ready for the next activity.
• Foster strong relationships with children, families, and staff by promoting open communication and collaboration, creating a sense of community and belonging.

• Must meet all state licensing requirements, including fingerprint clearance and TB testing.
• Ability to work patiently, positively, and effectively with young children.
• High school diploma or GED required; early childhood education coursework is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting preferred.
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
