About the Role As a Trauma Response Team (TRT) Member , you will provide critical support to individuals, families, and communities following disasters or traumatic events. TRT Members deliver Psychological First Aid (PFA) , Post-traumatic Stress Management (PTSM) , and Self-Care Coping Groups to both community members and BHN staff. This is a unique PER- DIEM opportunity to support resilience and recovery during moments when it's needed most.
What You'll Do

What You'll Do
- Respond to traumatic events on short notice, providing crisis support within established protocols.
- Deliver Psychological First Aid to individuals, families, and community groups.
- Facilitate Post-traumatic Stress Management Groups for those affected by disasters or critical incidents.
- Educate communities about stress reactions, coping strategies, and emotional resilience.
- Provide referrals, resource information, and assistance with services when appropriate.
- Ensure confidentiality and uphold the human rights of those served.
- High School Diploma or GED required ; prior human services experience preferred.
- Ability to respond effectively in crises and work collaboratively with diverse populations.
- Successful completion of Riverside Trauma Center training in PFA/PTSM (required before service).
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to community locations.
- Comprehensive training through the Riverside Trauma Center and ongoing skill development.
- A supportive, collaborative environment where your contribution is valued.
