Arnot Health is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our high-performing cardiovascular team in the Southern Tier of New York. Work side-by-side with skilled clinicians in a fast-paced cardiac unit where your expertise makes a real difference in emergency and elective cardiac interventions.

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

Assist with Interventional Cardiac Procedures

Support the care team during angiograms, angioplasty, stenting, pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and electrophysiology studies.

Ensure Continuous Patient Monitoring

Track vitals, manage IV access, administer medications, and monitor patient responses during high-acuity procedures.

Collaborate Across Specialties

Work closely with cardiologists, technologists, and surgical support staff to coordinate and deliver optimal cardiovascular care.

Educate & Advocate

Provide patient and family education on procedures, recovery, and long-term cardiac health. Advocate for patient comfort, safety, and understanding.

Maintain Sterile, Safe Environment

Ensure all cath lab equipment is properly prepared, maintained, and used in accordance with strict safety and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

• Active New York State RN license (required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required or obtained within 6 months of hire)

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year in cardiac catheterization, cardiac telemetry, or critical care
• Proficient with cath lab technology and monitoring systems
• Demonstrated clinical judgment in high-pressure environments
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
