Medical Assistant
LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC
This part-time Medical Assistant position supports both clinical and clerical functions in a pediatric clinic.
It involves performing routine patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, weights, heights, and assisting with procedures.
The role includes documenting in EPIC to ensure timely provider notes and encounter closures.
Responsibilities also encompass managing patient flow, room stocking, test and supply ordering, and performing delegated tasks from RNs, nurse practitioners, or physicians.
Department hours are typically M-F with varying 8-hour shifts.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, complete a Medical Assisting program, and obtain CPR certification within two weeks of starting.
This role emphasizes providing quality patient care and excellent customer service.
