DescriptionSAIC is seeking an experienced individual to join SAIC’s team, in support of the U.S. Southern Command’s Cyber IT Enterprise Services (SCITES), to help provide our Nation for contingency planning, operations, and security operations to Central America, South America, the Caribbean areas.The candidate selected for this position shall:Serve as a team leader for support tasks involving engineering development, integration, interface design analysis, integration of infrastructure, and testing of software and hardwarePerform system-level design and configuration of products including determination of hardware, software, operating systems, and other platform specifications to meet project requirements while maintaining interoperability with existing legacy systemsPlan large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and trade/cost studiesCandidate will be directly responsible for daily customer coordination, communications and reportingCandidate will have excellent communications skills, verbally and written capable of briefing senior command military and civilian leadershipOversee multiple technical task leads ensuring system/security operational capabilities, availability and complianceMaintains and manages the client interface at senior levels of the client organization.Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviewsChampion the integration of industry best practices and innovation to improve operational performance, availability, capacity and cost efficiencyIdentifies trends, determines system improvements, and implements changes to maintain and improve customer satisfactionQualificationsRequired:BS with 9 years or equivalent experience TS security clearance with SCI eligibleDoD 8570 certification (minimum Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III)Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certificationA minimum of five years of experience supporting global network systems and subsystems; troubleshooting a wide range of Local Area Network (LAN), Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), WAN, and network/service availability; and making recommendations for system fixes and enhancementsA minimum of five years of experience leading teams of network operations/engineering staff with skills applicable to a program environmentA minimum of three years planning and executing local and long-haul communicationsMaster’s degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical fieldDemonstrated experience with risk management and making recommendations for leveraging network installations and reducing operation costsA minimum of three years working experience supporting and troubleshooting firewall appliances and rulesets and working with firewall solutionsJob Field: Information TechnologyTravel: No
