Campus Admission Specialist I

Job Overview The Admission Specialist I will recruit and enroll qualified prospective students for campus undergraduate day programs. Additionally, you will assist students through the enrollment process and act as a liaison to other campus departments as the student’s advocate. Location: Manchester, NH. This position is partially based at the Manchester office; hybrid roles require the ability to commute to Manchester on a regular basis. Primary Responsibilities Identify opportunities to leverage recruitment initiatives at regional high schools. Travel to local high schools, attend regular high school visits, college fairs, and classroom presentations across New England. Represent the university at on-campus events throughout the academic year (information sessions, tours, activities, organization, and preparation). Initiate dialog with prospective students, evaluate their needs, interests, and qualifications, and provide clear information to help them make an informed decision on program, delivery mode, and school fit. Present information regarding the school, program offerings, structure, accreditation, cost, and benefits in an accurate and ethical manner. Assist prospective students through the admission process in accordance with SNHU policies and procedures, and in compliance with all applicable regulations and accrediting standards. Promote university offerings to prospective students according to their needs. Respond to new inquiries, conduct student interviews, facilitate and process enrollment, and follow up through Day 15 of successful term start. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by leadership. Qualifications One year of experience working in a college admission setting. Bachelor’s degree. Compensation The annual pay range for this position is $39,913.00 – $63,870.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. The target hiring range is $44,103.00 – $59,668.00.
