Ideal candidates will bring their expertise in special education along with the following qualifications:

• Active PEL (Professional Educator License) in hand
• LBS 1 endorsement
• Previous experience working with students in K-12 settings preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with IEP teams and families
• Ability to work independently and manage caseload remotely if needed

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing IEPs for a diverse group of students
• Providing differentiated instruction in both individual and small group formats
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records
• Working collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and parents
• Participating in IEP meetings and other team planning sessions
• Utilizing virtual teaching platforms and tools effectively, if working remotely
