By assisting with food preparation, ensuring the kitchen is clean and organized, and supporting the team in various tasks, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent dining experiences to our residents. Starting Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 - Based on experience and skillset. Utilizing kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to cook meals. Following recipes to prepare food that meets nutritional requirements. Reviewing menus for improvements. Assembling food supplies and equipment. Labeling, dating, and appropriately storing food items. Maintain sanitary conditions in the kitchen. Qualifications Strong knowledge of food preparation. At least six months of experience as a cook helper, dietary aide, or other food production position. Knowledge of proper knife handling skills, temperature control, and kitchen sanitation. Ability to perform simple math calculations for portioning and measuring ingredients. Ability to communicate in English to follow recipes, instructions, and production logs.
