Maintenance Technician 3- 2nd Shift

Our client, a manufacturing organization , is seeking a Maintenance Technician III (2nd Shift) to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician III, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting Production and Operations teams . The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently , which will align successfully in the organization.

Maintenance Technician III – 2nd Shift

Auburn Hills, MI

Pay Range:
$28 - $35/hour Dependent on Experience

What’s the Job?

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical production equipment
• Diagnose electrical faults through reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and PLC ladder logic
• Perform preventative maintenance on presses and auxiliary manufacturing equipment
• Support utilities and plant systems including compressors, chillers, and water systems
• Ensure safe, thorough handoffs between shifts through documentation and communication

What’s Needed?

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen‑Bradley or Siemens preferred)
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and lockout/tagout procedures
• Trade school certification or equivalent hands‑on experience
